Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 24, 2005
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 24,
2005,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on January 24, 2005, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of January 10 & 14, 2005.
County Engineer
- Consider final approval of the Plat for Iduma Trail Subdivision, a
12-Lot, 61.367 Acre Subdivision off of Briggs Road, Precinct 4.
- Consider action on road remainder off of F.M. 487, East of Bartlett.
Personnel.
Consider approval of grant submission for Victims of
Crimes Act (VOCA) for Bell County District Attorney.
Consider approval of Resolution of support for a
training agreement between the Bell County Sheriff's Office and the Texas
Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education.
Receive and consider Annual Report of the Bell County
Museum.
Consider approval of Agreement with Bell County Water
Control and Improvement District No. 5 regarding actions as fiscal agent
for TCDP Contract.
Consider approval/ratification of contract with
Kleinfelder for testing services for court building and County Engineer's
office.
Consider approval/ratification of contract with Gene
Doss Construction, Inc. as the Construction Manager at Risk for three
projects: (1) renovation of the document storage building at 120 N.
Penelope in Belton; (2) renovation of the Tax Assessor-Collector's
Licensing and Registration office at 411 E. Central in Belton; and (3)
finishing out of one wing at the Bell County Communications Center at 708
W. Ave O in Belton.
Consider approval of amendment/modification to the
Juvenile Detention Center contact with COPO, Inc.
Consider approval/ratification of action taken on
January 14, 2005 to consider approval of Agreement to Contribute Funds -
Local Government between the Texas Department of Transportation and Bell
County regarding the acquiring a parcel of land for a highway project on
Highway Number U.S. 190 from approximately 2.0 miles South of FM 436 to
the Milam County Line, with Bell County's portion being approximately
$4,000.00, with a budget amendment as appropriate.
