Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 31, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 31, 2005, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on January 31, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:


  1. Approve minutes of January 14 and 24, 2005.

  2. County Engineer

    1. Conduct Public Hearing an consider Vacation/Abandonment of a portion of Reese Creek Road.

    2. Consider approval of the Final Plat for B & L Estates, a One-Lot, 0.93 Acre Subdivision of Red Ranger Road, Precinct 3. 

    3. Consider approval of the Final Plat for Huffman Subdivision, a One-Lot, Five-Acre Subdivision off of F.M. 1237, in the E.T.J. of the City of Troy.

    4. Consider releasing Letter of Credit No. 553, First National Bank Texas, in the amount of $25,893.60, for the  maintenance of improvements in Wells Ranch, Phase III. 


  3. Personnel.

  4. Consider approval of 10 foot by approximately 150 feet Easement and Right of Way next to the alley with TXU Electric Delivery Company for utilities for Bell County Museum expansion and renovation. 

  5. Consider approval of revised Resolution to clarify designation of Authorized Official for Juvenile Crime Victim's Assistance Unit, CJD Grant Number VA-04-V30-13533-07 for Victim of Crime Act funding. 

  6. Consider approval/ratification of contract with Gene Doss Construction, Inc. as the Construction Manager at Risk for three projects:  (1) renovation of the document storage building at 120 N. Penelope in Belton; (2) renovation of the Tax Assessor-Collector's Licensing and Registration office at 411 E. Central in Belton; and (3) finishing out of one wing at the Bell County Communications Center at 708 W. Ave O in Belton.

  7. Final Budget Amendment for FY 2004. 

  8. Claims.
