Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
April 04, 2005
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 04,
2005,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on April 04, 2005, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of March 28, 2005.
County Engineer
Consider authorizing County Judge to sign an agreement to contribute
funds in the amount of $47.200.00 to TxDOT for improvements to F.M. 437,
from U.S. 190 to F.M. 940.
Consider preliminary approval of the plat for Stone Canyon, Phase
One, a 37-Lot, 30.845 Acre Subdivision off of Brewer Road.
Personnel.
Update from TxDOT District Engineer, Richard Skopik, on
status of Bell County projects as a result of the Texas Bond Review Board
decision to not take action on Texas Mobility Fund bonds, update on
Trans-Texas Corridor status, and legislative update regarding
transportation issues.
Recognize the selection of Pct 2 Commissioner Time Brown
to the 21-member Citizen's Advisory Committee to the Trans-Texas Corridor.
Consider resolution designating April as Child Abuse
& Neglect Prevention month in Bell County.
Consider approval of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement
between Bell County and the City of Killeen authorizing the City of
Killeen to use Bell County software and fiber optic network to process,
access, and maintain records regarding early voting for a fee of $1,500.00
paid by the City of Killeen.
Consider approval of a Lease Agreement with TxDOT for an
additional State computer and computer access for vehicle registration and
license purposes for a fee of $1,500.00 per year.
Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for
Request for Proposals for the Depository of Funds contract for Bell
County.
