Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
June 20, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., June 20, 2005, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on June 20, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Approve minutes of June 13, 2005.

2. County Engineer

1. Consider authorizing the purchase with bond funds the following pieces of equipment for the Road & Bridge Department through the BuyBoard On-Line Purchasing Program for Schools, Cities, Counties and Non-Profits:
   
   1.  Caterpillar 928 GZ Wheel Loader with Extended Power Train Warranty ($115,195.00).  (Budgeted amount $180,000.00).
   2.  Caterpillar CP 563E Compactor with Extended Power Train Warranty ($139,720.00).  (Budgeted amount $100,000.00).  

2. Consider authorizing the purchase with bond funds an Asphalt Zipper through Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) Cooperative Purchasing Program in the amount of $79,119.00 for the Road & Bridge Department.    

3. Consider setting date for a Public Hearing on the Abandonment/Closure/ Vacation of Patterson Crossing Road, Precinct 2. 

4. Consider authorizing East Bell Water Supply Corporation to relocate water lines for the Highland School/Five Wells Road Project, totaling $14,675.00, Precinct 3. 

5. Consider abandonment and release of Drainage and Utility Easements on Lots 248, 249, 250, 251, and 252, Sherwood Shores VI, Section One, Precinct 2. 

6. Consider releasing Letter of Credit No. 314, Union State Bank, Florence, in the amount of $68,500.00 (for improvements to Iduma Trail Subdivision) and accepting a cashier's check from the same bank in the amount of $68,500.00.

7. Consider awarding bids for the purchase of four (4) 5.5 C.Y. and two (2) 13-16 C.Y. Dump Trucks.

4. Consider approval of Deputy Clerk position for County Clerk's Office and budget amendment. 

5. Consider Burn Ban - Order Restricting Outdoor Burning. 

6. Consider approval of Resolution authorizing Bell County to join the Texas Indigent Health Care Association (TIHCA) and authorizing payment of Charter Membership fee of $500.00.

7. Consider approval of a Letter of Agreement with Healthx, Inc. for services to provide an electronic claims and enrollment interface between the County Indigent Health Care Program and health care providers.
