Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
July 12, 2005
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., July 12,
2005,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on July 12, 2005, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of July 5, 2005.
County Engineer
Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for
furnishing MC-30 prime oil and HFRS-2 emulsion.
Consider variance to section 303.2 of the Bell County Subdivision
Regulations for High Crest Subdivision.
Consider TxDOT offer of Surplus Right of Way on F.M. 487 (0.41 acres
in the William C. Wilson Survey, Abstract 856).
Consider authorizing the purchase of a Fleet Management Software
package from Ron Turley Associates, Phoenix, AZ, and making the necessary
budget amendment.
Consider approval of the Final Plat for Westside Church of Christ, a
One-Lot, 3.205 Acre Subdivision off of Bunny Trail, and partially within
the city limits of the City of Killeen.
Consider rescinding Commissioners’ Court action of June 27, 2005,
regarding the purchase of a Gradall XL-3100 off of the State Contract and
authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids on the purchase of this
piece of equipment.
Personnel.
Update from offices of Representative Suzanna Hupp,
Representative Dianne Delisi and Senator Troy Fraser on requested changes
to S.B. 6 to remove or fund the estimated $2.5 million unfunded mandate to
Bell County.
Consider selection and award of proposals for employee
health and dental insurance.
Consider approval of Change Order No.3 with Skanska
Construction Company for adjustments to District Courts project that
result in no change to the Guaranteed Maximum Price.
Consider approval of contract extension from July 1
through September 30, 2005 for funding by Central Texas Workforce of 211
staffing by Bell County.
