Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
August 15, 2005
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., August 15,
2005,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on August 15, 2005, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of August 8, 2005.
County Engineer
Consider the Abandonment/Vacation of Patterson Crossing Road.
Consider payment of $3,800 to Elm Creek Water Supply Corporation for
Engineering fees related to the relocation of water line on the Dove and
Brewster Creek Road Improvement Projects.
Consider authorizing the purchase of a 24', Tractor-Mounted Brush
Cutter through H.G.A.C. at a cost of $89,102.79.
Consider awarding bid for the purchase of HFRS-2 and MC-30.
Personnel.
Preliminary budget discussions, including allocations
required for unfunded mandates from the State Legislature, and adoption of
proposed tax rate for notice of public hearing purposes; set dates for
presentation of the budget, public hearings, and approval of the budget
and tax rates.
