Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September  02, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., September 02, 2005, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on September 02, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. In accordance with the laws governing such matters, the County Judge will hold the second of two Public Hearings on the tax rates, and announce the date, time and place of the meeting at which the Commissioners Court will vote on the approval of the 2005-2006 Budget and the proposed Bell County and Bell County Road District tax rates. 

2. Recognize Brad Stutzman, departing reporter for the Temple Daily Telegram, for his six years of covering Bell County and congratulate him on his new position as Managing Editor of the Round Rock Leader.
