Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September  12, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., September 12, 2005, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on September 12, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Receive reports on the efforts and current plans of Bell County, its cities, specifically Killeen and Temple; and the regional resources such as the Bell County Health District, the Central Texas Workforce Center and Workforce Board, the Central Texas Council of Governments, the Red Cross and Salvation Army, the medical community, the faith based community, Fort Hood, numerous local, state, and federal assistance agencies/services; and other volunteers and volunteer agencies to assist the displaced population from Louisiana, New Orleans, and other areas hit by Hurricane Katrina. 

2.  Consider approval of minutes of August 29, September 2, and September 7, 2005. 

3. County Engineer.

4. Personnel. 

5. Consider annual approval of Interlocal Assistance Agreement - Regional Auto Theft Enforcement Task Force with Travis County and other counties, with Travis County as Manager, to continue the Sheriffs Combined Auto Theft Task Force and to pool resources and coordinate individual efforts to combat auto theft more efficiently and effectively. 

6. Consider approval of the FY 2005-2006 budget for Bell County. 

7. Consider approval of Bell County's and Bell County Road District's Tax Rates for FY 2005-2006.
