Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November  28, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 28, 2005, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on November 28, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:


  1.  Consider approval of minutes of November 21, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. 

  2. County Engineer

    1. Consider awarding bid for the purchase of eight (8) shredders.

    2. Consider awarding bid for the right of way fencing on Dove and Brewster Creek Roads.

    3. Consider awarding bid for prime oil.

  3. Personnel.

  4. Consider presentation of the First Annual Willroy Pitrucha Award by District Attorney Henry Garza to an investigator for demonstrated excellence in criminal prosecutions.

  5. Consider presentation by Chris Hammel on behalf of the Blackland Coalition and action in response.

  6. Consider extending the Interlocal Agreement for Fuel Management Systems between Bell County and the City of Belton.

  7. Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for bids for an asbestos abatement company for the county buildings in Killeen.

  8. Consider approval of an agreement and statement of work with SBI enteris for Inmate Indigent Healthcare Processing assistance and support.

  9. Consider approval of Amendment No. 3 with Wiginton Hooker Jeffrey, P.C. for services in conducting inventory of existing furniture and suitability for reuse in new District Courts Building and in renovated Downtown Annex.

  10. Claims.

  11. Executive Session under Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to discuss Personnel Matters.

  12. Consider approval of reorganization of HELP Centers and Indigent Health Care functions.
