Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 30, 2006

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 30, 2006, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on January 30, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1.  Consider approval of minutes of January 17 & 23, 2006. 

2. County Engineer

1. Consider Annual Report of Road and Bridge Department Activities for 2005.

2. Consider Releasing Letter of Credit No. 000493, First State Bank Central Texas, in the amount of $10,000, and accepting a Maintenance Bond No. 4346008, Suretec Insurance Company, in the amount of $14,581.19 for Eagle Oaks at the Lake, Phase I.

3. Consider requesting that the City of Killeen annex a portion of Reese Creek Road. 

4. Consider assisting the City of Belton in its application for a Small Community Grant for the development of about six acres for the South Belton Community Park by agreeing to provide certain labor and equipment at a value of approximately $3,000 to $4,000.

3. Personnel.

4. Consider continuation, modification, or lifting of Burn Ban Order and Emergency Order Concerning Burning.     

5. Consider Annual Presentation of Sheriff's Awards.    
   
   

6. Consider approval of final budget amendments for FY 05 Budget.

7. Consider approval of Contract for Election Services.
