Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 21, 2006
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., March 21,
2006,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on March 21, 2006, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider
approval of minutes of March 13, 2006.

County Engineer
-
Consider approval of the following Traffic Control
Device: Installation of "No Parking" signs at the
intersection of Nolan Loop and F.M. 439.

Consider Final Approval of the Plat for Russell Subdivision,
a One-Lot, Two Acre Subdivision off of F.M. 2184, South of Rogers.
-
Consider Final Approval of the Plat for Prairie Dell
Settlements, a Two-Lot, 3.702 Acre Subdivision off of Solano Ranch
Road.
-
Consider Final Approval of the Plat for Songbird Estates, a
Five-Lot, 10.449 Acre Development off of F.M. 436, in the E.T.J. of the City
of Temple.

Personnel.
-
Receive report on and consider approval, as appropriate, of
Canvassing of Primary Election Results by Political Parties.

Consider update, status, continuation, modification or
lifting of Burn Ban Order and Emergency Order Concerning Burning.

Consider budget amendment to increase funding for County
Wide Fire Assistance by area Fire Departments due to unprecedented number of
grass and wild fires this Fiscal Year.

Receive and consider approval of FY-2005 Yearly Interest and
Investment Report by Charles Jones, County Treasurer.

Consider approval of Grant Application by District Attorney
Henry Garza for funding through the Project Safe Neighborhood/Gang Violence
initiative to support a prosecutor position to be funded by the grant.

Consider approval of Statement of Work with FusionBridge Ltd
for support to complete implementation of various processes in the County
Clerk's office including processes and solutions regarding document
recording, credit card usage, cash drawer functionality, and other
processes.
