Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May  01, 2006

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May  01, 2006, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  May  01, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1.  Consider approval of minutes of April 25, 2006. 

2. County Engineer

1. Consider authorizing the City of Belton to place signs giving directions to various historical locations in the City on County-owned property in the vicinity of Main Street and 2nd Avenue.  

3. Personnel.

4. Consider approval of a Service Agreement with ACS State & Local Solutions, Inc. for a land records management system and related services for the Cashiering, Recording, Indexing, Imaging and Retrieval of Real Property documents under the general exemptions of Section 252.022 of the Texas Government Code for a sole source provider under sub-sections 7(A) and (D).            

5. Consider approval of the Collections Improvement Project Compliance Plan, Bell County, Texas as required by SB 1863, Article 10, to implement a collection improvement program to improve collection of court costs, fees and fines imposed in criminal cases and in accordance with guidelines developed by the Office of Court Adminsitration's "OCA" Model Court Collections Program.

6. Consider approval of submission of Juvenile Accountability Block Grant Program Application in support of the Bell County Crime Coalition.
