Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May 30, 2006
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May 30,
2006,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on May 30, 2006, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider
approval of minutes of May 23, 2006.

County Engineer

Consider Preliminary Approval of the Plat for Crooked Creek
Subdivision, a 25-Lot, 54.95 acre subdivision off of F.M. 436, in the E.T.J.
of the City of Temple.

Personnel.

Consider report from Bell County Historical Commission on
2006 Annual Preservation Award competition for Historic Bell County Public
Structures, 60 years of older, with deadline line of June 30, 2006 for
submissions.

Consider awarding bid for property and liability insurance.

Review and consider for adoption General Prevailing Wage
Rates for use in Bell County Building Construction Projects.

Consider approval of Mutual Aid Agreements for DR 1624
(Extreme Wildfire Threat) with the Florence Volunteer Fire Department,
Moffat Volunteer Fire Department, Southwest Bell Volunteer Fire Department
and Stillhouse Volunteer Fire Department.
