Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
July 10, 2006

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., July 10, 2006, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  July 10, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1.  Consider approval of minutes of July 3, 2006. 

2. County Engineer

1. Consider releasing "Guidance Line" in the amount of $100,000 and accepting cashier's check no. 4867612362 in the amount of $7,700 for maintenance of improvements and installation of erosion control materials as specified in plans.
   

3. Personnel.

4. Authorize County Judge to sign renewal lease agreement with USDA. 

5. Canvass of The Village of Salado Local Option Petition for the legal sale of mixed beverages in restaurants by food and beverage certificate holder; and consider the calling of an election. 

6. Consider approval change order #1 for Brazos Valley Utilities Contract on the 2004 TCDP grant on behalf of Bell County W.C.I.D. #5. 

7. Consider and act on Sponsorship of 2007/2008 Texas Community Development Program Grant Application on behalf of Bell County W.C.I.D. #5.

8. Consider Report of Rating Agencies Affirming AA Ratings of Bell County. 

9. An Order authorizing the issuance of "Bell County, Texas, Limited Tax Refunding Bonds, Series 2006"; in a principal amount of $24,435,000; specifying the terms and features of said bonds; levying a continuing direct annual ad valorem tax for the payment of said bonds; and resolving other matters incident and related to the issuance, sale, payment and delivery of said bonds, including the approval and execution of a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement, an Escrow Agreement and a Purchase Contract and the approval and distribution of an Official Statement; and providing an effective date. 

10. Order authorizing the issuance of $46,695,000 Bell County, Texas, Limited Tax Notes, Series 2006; authorizing the levy of an ad valorem tax; and resolving other matters incident and related to the issuance, sale, payment and delivery of said notes, including the approval and execution of a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement, and a Purchase Contract and the approval and distribution of an Official Statement; and providing an effective date.
