Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 02, 2006
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 02,
2006,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on October 02, 2006, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of September 25, 2006.

County Engineer.

Consider Final Approval of the Plat for Allah Jur Addition,
a Two-Lot, 14.0 Acre Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple.

Personnel.
-
Consider status of Burn Ban and approval of modification,
termination or continuation.

Consider presentation and approval of proposed Bell County
Extension Agent - 4-H & Youth Development by Ron Woolley, District 8
Extension Director for Texas Cooperative Extension Service.

Consider presentation by the Bell County 4-H Council
Officers and approval of a Proclamation designating the week of October 1,
2006 as National 4-H Week in Bell County, Texas.

Consider approval of Tax Abatement Agreement previously
approved by Belton City Council for Belton Feed & Supply located in Belton's
Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone.

Consider approval of re-appointment of County Judge Jon
Burrows, Pct 1 Commissioner Richard Cortese, and Pct 2 Commissioner Tim
Brown and the appointment of Pct Commissioner Eddy Lange and Pct 4
Commissioner John Fisher to the Board of the Bell County Health Facilities
Development Corporation.

Consider approval of the Policy for Receiving and Approving
Applications For Participation in Development Projects for conduit financing
through Bell County Industrial Development Corporation, Bell County Health
Facilities Development Corporation, and Bell County Housing Finance
Corporation.

Consider approval of application for annual SB 7 Indigent
Defense Grant from the Task Force on Indigent Defense in the projected
amount of $124,541.00 and designation of Authorized Official, Program
Director, and Financial Officer.

Consider approval of the Statement of Work (Amendment 1) for
Bell County SB 1863 Collections Project with Enterpulse to increase the
professional service hours necessary to complete required project elements.
