Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 20, 2006
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 20,
2006,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on November 20, 2006, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of November 13 and 16, 2006.

County Engineer.
-
Personnel.
-
Consider approval of Order With Respect to Waste Management,
Inc. Project, part of which improvement projects is in Bell County, in order
to comply with Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code and to satisfy
public approval standards that are a prerequisite to the issuance of
tax-exempt industrial revenue bonds being issued through the Mission
Economic Development Corporation in Mission, Texas as the governmental
issuer of said tax-exempt bonds.

Consider approval of Resolution authorizing a Tax Abatement
Agreement with First Central Joint Venture, which has been approved by the
City of Temple, for property located at 107 West Central Avenue, 4 South 1st
Street, and 6 South 1st in the City of Temple; to abate the taxes on real
and personal property consistent with such agreement, and authorizing the
County Judge to sign such agreement.

Consider approval of Change Order Number 009 for the Bell
County Justice Center/District Courts Building.

Consider approval of the Federal Annual Certification Report
for the Central Texas Narcotics Task Force for the time period June 1, 2005
through September 20, 2006.

Consider awarding bid for providing vending services for
Bell County.
