Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 22, 2007

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 22, 2007, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  January 22, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Consider approval of minutes of January 8 & 16, 2007.

2. County Engineer

1. Consider setting a date for a Public Hearing on the abandonment/vacation of a portion of South Mockingbird Road.
   

2. Consider entering into an agreement with the BNSF Railroad for the installation of a concrete crossing at Wheat Road.

3. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for liquid asphalts, hot mix, cold mix, pit-run gravel, lime, cement, and concrete.

4. Consider awarding bid for the purchase of a used Spray-Injection Asphalt Patching Machine.

5. Consider Final Plat Approval of Crooked  Creek Subdivision, a 25-Lot, 54.95 Acre Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple.  

3. Personnel.

4. Recognize County Sheriff Dan Smith for the presentation ceremony of the Annual Sheriff's Office Awards for 2007. 

5. Consider approval of Policy Guidelines for Court Collections in response to Senate Bill 1863 and guidance from the Office of Court Administration.

6. Consider approval of Tax Abatement Agreement approved by City of Temple on December 21, 2006 with Oro Holdings, Ltd., d/b/a Gidden Distributing, Inc. for improvements to property located within the City of Temple Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone No. Eleven.    

7. Consider approval of Addendum No. 2 to agreement with Wiginton Hooker Jeffry, PC, Architects, and Skanska Construction making modifications to Project Manual - Specifications on Bell County Jail Project, and changing proposal due date to Skanska to be January 25, 2007.
