Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
April 02, 2007
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 02,
2007,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on April 02, 2007, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
meetings on March 26, 2007.

County Engineer
-
Conduct Public Hearing and consider approval of the Abandonment
of Wilkerson Valley Road.

Consider setting date for a Public Hearing on the Vacation of a
portion of what was once Landfill Road.
-
Consider authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids
for fencing on Lindemann Road.
-
Consider Final Approval of the Plat for Chupik Subdivision, a
One-Lot, 0.90 Acre Subdivision fronting on Stag Road.

Consider Preliminary Approval of the Plat for Eagle Oaks at the
Lake, Phase II, a 19-Lot, 13.57 Acre Development in the E.T.J. of the City of
Temple.

Personnel.

Consider approval of Resolution in support of House Joint
Resolution (HJR) 61 by Rep. Wayne Smith, chairman of the House County Affairs
Committee, that calls for a constitutional amendment prohibiting unfunded
mandates being imposed on Texas Counties by the State.

Receive report from Steve Rublee on current activities of the
County Judge and Commissioners Committee on People with Disabilities.

Receive report on the passage of SB 2061, its signing into law
by the Governor, and its immediate effect upon the Governor's approval, with
the purpose of addressing the acquisition or disclosure of social security
numbers by a district or county clerk.

Receive presentation by Shannon Mattingly, Director of the
Killeen-Temple Urban Transportation Study (K-TUTS) Metropolitan Planning
Organization (MPO), of the FY 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP).

Consider approval of Change Order #004 with Skanska USA
Building, Inc. for the Bell County Annex & Sheriff's Office Project.
