Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May 29, 2007
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May 29,
2007,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on May 29, 2007, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of May 21, 2007.

County Engineer.
- Consider releasing Letter of Credit No. 1009, Independent Bank, in the
amount of $8,559.35, for maintenance of improvements in Northcliffe
Subdivision, Phase VIII.

Personnel.

Consider approval of appointment of Emergency Management
Coordinator to be the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Coordinator
for Bell County.

Consider approval of Deputy Clerk I position and budget
amendment for Sheriff's Office.

Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for requests
for proposals for employee health and dental insurance.

Conduct Public Hearing regarding the issuance of Crawford
Health Facilities Development Corporation Mortgage Revenue Bonds (Scott &
White Long Term Acute Care Hospital Project) Series 2007 in a principal amount
not to exceed $16,000,000.00.

Consider adoption of Order approving the issuance of Crawford
Health Facilities Development Corporation Mortgage Revenue Bonds (Scott &
White Long Term Acute Care Hospital Project) Series 2007 in a principal amount
not to exceed $16,000,000.00. (The bonds are not an obligation of Bell
County and are not payable from any public funds whatsoever.)
