Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
July 30, 2007
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., July 30,
2007,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on July 30, 2007, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of July 23, 2007.

County Engineer.
- Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement with the City of Holland
for the reconstruction of Holland School-Hackberry Road.

Personnel.

Consider adoption of Order Proclaiming Saturday, August 4,
2007 as Bernita Peeples Day in Bell County, Texas in honor of her 90th
Birthday and in recognition of her years of reporting on Bell County
Commissioners Court for the Belton Journal.

Consider approval of appointment of Gloria Jean (Jeannie)
Pittman of Belton to the Bell County Child Welfare Board.

Consider Adoption of Order Authorizing the Issuance of
$6,100,000 Bell County, Texas, Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of
Obligation Series 2007; Authorizing a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement; and
Ordaining Certain Other Matters Relating to the Issuance of the Certificates.

Consider approval of Change Order Number 006 with Skanska USA
Building, Inc. for the Bell County Annex & Sheriff's Office Building in the
amount of $2,225.00.

Consider update on Bell County flooding damage and disaster
assistance status.
