Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
August 15, 2007

Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., August 15, 2007, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  August 15, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. In accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code, the Commissioners Court will discuss the FY 2008 Tax Rates for Bell County and Bell County Road District and hold the first of two Public Hearings on the Tax Rates.

2. The Commissioners Court will re-announce the date, time, and place of the second Public Hearing on the Tax Rates, the presentation of the FY 2008 Budget and Public Hearing on the Budget, and the approval of the Budget and Tax Rates.
