Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
August 20, 2007
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., August 20,
2007,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on August 20, 2007, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of August 13 and 15, 2007.

County Engineer.
- Consider Final Plat approval for Shiloh Terrace Phase 3, a 42-Lot, 26.158
Acre Development in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple.
- Consider exercising Buy-Back Agreement with East Texas Mack for the sale
of two each 6X4 Mack Chassis Tractors and the purchase of two new units off of
Buy Board.

Personnel.

In accordance with the laws governing such matters, the County
Judge will present the FY 2008 Budget for Bell County and hold a Public
Hearing thereon.

In accordance with the laws governing such matters, the County
Judge will hold the second of two Public Hearings on the Bell County and Bell
County Road District Tax Rates.

Re-announce the date, time, and place for the Approval of the
Budget and Tax Rates.

Consider approval of early voting site at the Salado Civic
Center for the November 6, 2007 Constitutional Amendment Election.

Consider approval of ratification of the appointments of Ann
King of Milam County and Sue Faulkner of Lampasas County by the Milam County
Commissioners Court and the Lampasas County Commissioners Court for two-year
terms on the Board of Trustees for Central Counties MHMR Center.

Consider approval of donation to the City of Rogers two pieces
of Bell County property located in the City of Rogers.

Consider authorizing County Auditor and Technical Services
Department to place surplus computer equipment on an eBay auction for sale to
highest bidder.

Consider approval of authorization to amend existing agreement
with Wiginton Hooker Jeffry Architects to reflect the addition of master
planning and design services for county facilities.

Consider approval of agreement with Engineered Air Balance
Co., Inc. for Testing and Balancing services for the new jail addition
project.

Consider update on Bell County flooding damage and disaster
assistance status.
