Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September 17, 2007
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., September 17,
2007,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on September 17, 2007, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of September 10, 2007.

County Engineer.

Personnel.

Recognize and receive update on November 6, 2007
Constitutional Amendment Election from Texas Secretary of State, Phil Wilson.

Consider approval of Notice of Special Election to adopt or
reject the proposed Constitutional Amendments as submitted by the 80th
Legislature, Regular Session, of the State of Texas and the issuance of Writs
of Election for the General Election and the taking of appropriate actions in
compliance with the Proclamation by the Governor of the State of Texas
ordering a special election to be held throughout the State of Texas on
November 6, 2007.

Consider approval of Order of Election (Special Election) for
the City of Temple for Bond Election on November 6, 2007.

Consider approval of Order of Election (Special Election) for
the Holland Independent School District for Bond Election on November 6, 2007.
-
Consider approval of renewal of contract with IHS (Indigent
Healthcare Solutions) for data processing services.
-
Consider approval of application for annual SB7 Indigent
Defense Grant from the Task force on Indigent Defense in the projected amount
of $128,357.00 and designation of Authorized Official, Program Director, and
Financial Officer.

Consider report of Order of re-appointment of Auditor by
District Judges and receive report from District Judges of annual Order
certifying the FY 2007-2008 County Auditor's Budget.

Receive report of Order from District Judges concerning Court
Reporter pay.

Claims.
