Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 23, 2007

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 23, 2007, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  October 23, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Consider approval of minutes of October 15, 2007.

2. County Engineer.

1. Consider authorizing County Engineer to purchase a motorized broom off of the State Buy Board. 
2. Consider Final Plat Approval of Early Acres, a One-Lot, One Acre Subdivision off of old Highway 81.

3. Personnel.

4. Consider approval of United Way applications by the Temple and Killeen HELP Centers to the United Way of Central Texas and the Greater Fort Hood United Way.

5. Consider designation of an Alternate on the Brazos Region G Regional Water Planning Group to attend in the absence of Judge Burrows.

6. Consider approval of purchase of equipment for Sheriff's work release program consisting of two industrial mowers, a commercial weed eater, and a commercial blower, and approval of budget amendment/line item designation as appropriate for up to $6,000.

7. Consider approval of Change Order Number 003 on the Bell County Jail addition project with Skanska USA Building, Inc. that does not increase the Guaranteed Maximum Price.
