Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 19, 2007

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 19, 2007, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  November 19, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Consider approval of minutes of November 13, 2007.

2. County Engineer.

1. Consider Final Plat Approval for Harris Subdivision, a Two-Lot, 12.0 Acre Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple.
2. Consider setting date for a Public Hearing on the vacation/closure of a portion of the Old Wilkerson Valley Road as depicted on surveyed drawings provided by an adjacent landowner. 
3. Consider releasing Letter of Credit No. S2819OT, Compass Bank, in the amount of $25,000, for Maintenance of Improvements in Chaparral West, Phase IV.     

3. Personnel. 

4. Receive report from Fire Marshall and consider status of Order Restricting Outdoor Burning.

5. Canvass and consider certifying approval of the results of the November 6, 2007 Constitutional Amendment Election held in Bell County. 

6. Consider report from Sharon Long, Bell County Tax Assessor/Collector concerning Child Safety Fee Allocations to Bell County and Bell County Cities for fees collected from October 1, 2006 through September 20, 2007 and approval of distribution.

7. Consider approval of contractual proposal by Phase 2 Consulting to assist in planning for healthcare services for expanded jail population and changed circumstances upon completion of jail addition.

           whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
