Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
December 03, 2007

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., December 03, 2007, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  December 03, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Consider approval of minutes of November 26, 2007.

2. County Engineer.

1. Consider awarding bid for the purchase of three, 5.5 C.Y. Dump Trucks.
2. Consider releasing Letters of Credit Numbers 482 and 483, First Texas Bank, in the amounts of $13,750 and $2,600, respectively, for the maintenance of improvements on Walnut Creek Estates, Phases 7 and 6, respectively.   

3. Personnel. 

4. Recognize County Tax Assessor/Collector Sharon Long for her receipt of a Resolution and Certificate of Appreciation from the Texas Department of Transportation honoring her and her staff for being one of three counties to pilot test the automated Specialty Plate program and for their efforts in enhancing service to the public and maintaining the ongoing cooperative spirit between her office and the TxDOT Division of Vehicle Titles and Registration.  

5. Receive report from Fire Marshall and consider status of Order Restricting Outdoor burning and consider possible continuation, modification, or termination of the Order. 

6. Claims.
   
           Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
           whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
