Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 07, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 07,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on January 07, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of December 17, 2007.

County Engineer.
- Conduct Final Plat approval for Armstrong Subdivision, a three-lot, 15.993
acre subdivision fronting on F.M. 1123.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the annual
purchases of Asphalt, Hot Mix, Cold Mix, Cement, Lime, Pit Run Gravel and
Concrete.
- Consider budget amendments to line item 611.7050.040 (tools) adding
$15,000; and line item 611.7140 (road equipment) adding $5,000.

Personnel.

Consider approval of appointment of Tiffany Allen-Duran of
Temple to the Bell County Child Welfare Board.

Receive report from Fire Marshall and consider status of Order
Restricting Outdoor burning and consider continuation, modification,
extension, or termination of the Order and a finding that circumstances
present in all or part of the unincorporated area create a public safety
hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning.

Consider approval of Amendment No. 2 to Operation and
Maintenance Agreement Elm Creek (Cen-Tex) Watershed between McLennan County,
Bell County, Falls County, Milam County, McLennan County Soil and Water
Conservation District, Central Texas Soil and Water Conservation District, Elm
Creek Watershed Authority, and Natural Resources Conservation Service-United
States Department of Agriculture.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
