Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 22, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 22,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on January 22, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of January 14 and January 16, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider rescinding Appendix A15 of the Bell County Subdivision
Regulations regarding the combining of lots.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the Right
of Way fencing on Mills Road (3382' Pct 1) and Romberg Road (186' Pct 2).

Personnel.

Consider approval of application for Temporary Emergency
Relief Funds (TERF) from the TERF Committee for the Temple and Killeen HELP
Centers of Bell County Human Services Department.

Consider approval of amendment to Contract with IHS (Indigent
Health Services) to add Power Search function to existing Contract.

Consider approval of Medical Social Work/Case Management
Contract.

Consider approval of amendment to the August 1, 2007 to July
31, 2008 Memorandum of Understanding - Residential between Bell County, the
Bell County Juvenile Board, and the Board of Trustees of the Killeen
Independent School District in which the instruction services hours are
increased.

Receive report from Fire Marshall and consider status of Order
Restricting Outdoor burning and consider continuation, modification,
extension, or termination of the Order and a finding that circumstances
present in all or part of the unincorporated area create a public safety
hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
