Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 04, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., March 04,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on March 04, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of February 25, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider Preliminary Plat approval of Lacey Lou Addition, a Five-Lot,
5.782 Acre Development off of Brewer Road, Precinct 2.
- Consider Final Plat approval of Vasicek Subdivision, a One-Lot, 1.868 Acre
Subdivision at the corner of Riggs Road and Knob Creek Road, in the E.T.J. of
the City of Temple, Precinct 1.
- Consider Final Plat approval of River Ridge Ranch Section V Amended (Lots
20A & 21A), a Replat of Lots 20 & 21, in the E.T.J. of the City of Killeen.
- Consider approval of the 2008 Work Plan.

Personnel.

Consider approval of application to the Cities of Killeen and
Temple for CDBG grant funding for use to assist residents in need at both the
Killeen HELP Center and the Temple HELP Center.

Receive report from Fire Marshall and consider status of Order
Restricting Outdoor burning and consider continuation, modification,
extension, or termination of the Order and a finding that circumstances
present in all or part of the unincorporated area create a public safety
hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning. Current Burn Ban
expires on March 12, 2008.

Consider approval of the joint purchase with the City of
Temple the property locally known as the Nadine Apartments in Temple, and the
authorization for the County Judge to sign all necessary and appropriate
documents and the approval of the appropriate budget amendment.

reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
