Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May 05, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May 05,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on May 05, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of April 21, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider awarding bids for the purchase of Rip Rap rock.
- Consider awarding bids for a Skid-mounted Spray Rig for application of
herbicides.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the
procurement of Liquid Asphalt and Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete (HMAC).
- Consider final plat approval for Haddon-Royal Oaks, being a replat of lots
2, 4, & 5, Haddon-Hall, Texas, in the E.T.J. of the Village of Salado.

Personnel.

Consider approval of Order with Respect to Waste Management,
Inc. Project to comply with Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Consider approval of Anti-Gang grant through the Attorney
General's Office for the Juvenile Probation Department.

Consider approval of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the
Cities of Killeen and Temple for the use of Bell County computer software
developed to process and maintain records regarding early voting and to use
Bell County fiber optic network.

Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for requests
for proposals for employee health insurance.

Claims.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
