Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
June 23, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., June 23,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on June 23, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of June 17, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Little
River/Academy for the purchase of Cold Mix from the County.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Troy for the
Seal Coating of 0.87 miles of City streets.
- Consider authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids for HFRS-2
Emulsion and consider acceptance of a proposal from Ergon, Waco, to provide
the County with CRS-2 Emulsion at an approximate cost of $1.99 per gallon
during the interim period.
- Consider Final Plat approval of Schneider Subdivision, a One-Lot, 1.15
Acre Subdivision fronting on F.M. 485.

Consider approval of Resolution Regarding Section 147(f)
Approval of the Bell County Health Facilities Development Corporation Revenue
Bonds, Series 2008 (Advanced Living Technology, Inc. Project).

Consider approval of Order by Commissioners Court of Bell
County, Texas Awarding a Contract for Automated Information Systems Regarding
the Telephone System for the Bell County Jail.

Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement between Bell County
and the City of Killeen regarding 2008 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAP)
Program Award.

Announce the process and procedures for the Issuance of the
National Association of Counties (NACo) Prescription Card, which will be
available to all Bell County residents at no charge, with the potential to
provide significant savings on the costs of medial prescriptions.

Meeting Act.
