Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September 29, 2008

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., September 29, 2008, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  September 29, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of September 22, 2008.

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Consider Final Plat Approval of Tooterville Subdivision, a One-Lot, 1.0 Acre Subdivision off of Landfill Road, Precinct 1.
    2. Consider setting date for a Public Hearing on the vacation of a 40' access easement (or right of way) between Lot 1, Block 3 and Lot 11, Block 1 of the Subdivision formerly known as Cedar Knob Estates and now known as Salado Lakeview.
       
  3. Personnel.

  4. Recognize and introduce Louis Dubuque, newly assigned to the Office of the Attorney General, Temple Branch.

  5. Receive report from District Judges of annual Order certifying the FY 2008-2009 County Auditor's budget.

  6. Receive report of Order from District Judges concerning Court Reporter pay.

  7. Consider approval of Second Amendment to Inmate Pay Telephone Agreement with Evercom Systems, Inc.

  8. Receive report and consider approval of the results of the County Auction held on September 20, 2008.

  9. Consider approval of Agreement with Hill Country Transit District to provide non-emergency medical trips for indigent health care clients within the urbanized areas of Bell County.

  10. Consider approval of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Medical Examiner Services Between Travis County and Bell County.

  11. Claims.

            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
