Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 14, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 14,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on October 14, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of October 6, 2008.

County Engineer.

Personnel.

Consider Proclamation naming Wednesday, October 15, 2008 as
County Judge and Commissioners Committee on People with Disabilities Day in
Bell County.

Consider Proclamation naming October as
Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Bell County.

Consider Proclamation naming October as
National Fire Prevention Month in Bell County.
-
Consider approval of the termination, modification or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire on October 23, 2008.

Consider approval of Change Order #1 with Jamail-Smith
Construction in the amount of $1,356.55 for renovations to the Justice of
the Peace offices in Temple.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
