Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 27, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 27,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on October 27, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of October 20, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider authorizing the County Engineer to purchase a new, Cimline
Model 230 DH, crack filler off of the Buy Board.
- Consider authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids for the
purchase of a small motor grader and a fork lift.
- Consider Final Plat Approval for Chick Addition, Phase Two, a 10.0 Acre,
13-Lot Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Belton, fronting on W. Amity
Road.
- Consider approval of the 2008 Report to the Texas Commission on
Environmental Quality for the Bell County Phase II MS4 Program.
- Consider Final Plat Approval for Pleasant Way Subdivision, a One-Lot,
5.034 Acre Development in the E.T.J. of the City of Belton.

Re-announce Early Voting Locations and Hours for the November
4, 2008 General Election.
- Early Voting Locations:
1. Belton - Bell County Courthouse Annex, 550 East 2nd Avenue
2. Harker Heights - Parks & Recreation Center, 307 Millers Crossing
3. Killeen - Bell County Annex, 301 Priest Drive
4. Killeen - Killeen Community Center, 2201 East Veterans Memorial
Drive
5. Temple - Bell County Annex, 205 East Central Avenue
6. Salado - Salado Civic Center, 601 North Main Street
- Remaining Early Voting Hours:
1. October 27 - 31, 2008 (Monday thru Friday) - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Election Day Voting (Tuesday, November 4, 2008) - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
at the voter's precinct polling location.

Consider approval of the termination, modification, or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire on October 23, 2008.
