Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 17, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 17,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on November 17, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of November 03, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider approval of the following Traffic Control Devices:
1. Install a 45 MPH speed limit on Old 81, from W. Hillyard to
0.5 miles north of Hillside Dr.
2. Install a 50 MPH speed limit on Old 81, from the Troy City Limits
to Big Elm West Road.
- Consider awarding bid for the construction of a 50' X 200' metal
building at the Road and Bridge yard.
- Consider granting a variance to the County Subdivision Regulations for
Mrs. Yong O. Conway, for 3.0 acres out of the John West Survey No. 24,
Abstract 1058.
- Consider Final Plat Approval for the Replat of portions of The Creeks of
Salado, Phase I, a 55-Lot, 77.89 Acre Development off of Sulphur Wells Road.
- Consider approval of adjustment to liquid asphalt and hot mix prices.
- Consider releasing Maintenance Letter of Credit No. 496, First Texas
Bank, in the amount of $4,500 for the improvements in Presta Vista
Subdivision.

Canvass and approve Election Results from November 4,
2008 General Election.

Consider approval of the termination, modification, or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire on November 19, 2008.

Consider approval of Maintenance Agreement between Bell County
and McQuay Factory Service for chiller services.

Consider approval for Bell County H.E.L.P. Centers to apply to
the United Way of Central Texas and the Greater United Way of the Greater Fort
Hood for assistance funds.

Consider approval of renewal of Pharmacy Benefit Management
Agreement between Bell County (Indigent Health Care Services) and Express
Scripts, Inc. for pharmacy benefit management services for indigent health
care participants.

Consider approval of renewal of Professional Services Contract
between Bell County (Human Services Department) and Central Texas Workforce
Development Board/Information and Referral Systems for staffing of 2-1-1
Information and Referral Call Center in Belton.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
