Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 24, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 24,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on November 24, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of November 17, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider setting a date for a Public Hearing regarding the vacation of a
portion of the Grove Road.

Personnel.
-
Consider approval of the termination, modification, or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire on December 1, 2008.

Consider approval of schedule of inmate co-pays, including
withdrawals from commissary accounts, for medical, dental, and pharmaceutical
services provided to inmates during incarcerations following the date of this
approval.

Consider approval for the Jail/Detention Center Medical/Dental
RFQ review team to enter into a professional service negotiation with a
selected dental provider or providers for the purpose of establishing a
mutually agreed on contract(s) and services delivery price(s) to be brought to
the Commissioners Court for consideration for approval.

Consider report from Sharon Long, Bell County Tax
Assessor/Collector concerning Child Safety Fee Allocations to Bell County and
Bell County Cities for fees collected from October 1, 2007 through September
30, 2008 and approval of distribution.

Consider approval of renewal of agreement, under Local
Government Code Section 262.024 for professional services, with Kleinfelder
Central, Inc. for a period of two years, with option to renew annually for
three more years at terms agreeable to both parties.

Consider approval of agreement with Specialized Public Finance
Inc. for financial advisory services.

Claims.

Executive Session under Section 551.072 of the Texas
Government Code to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real
property.

Executive Session under Section 551.074 of the Texas
Government Code to deliberate personnel matters.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
