Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
December 08, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., December 08,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on December 08, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of December 01, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Consider exercising the County's buy-back option with East Texas Mack
for the purchase and sale (trade-in) of two Mack CHU613 Tractors.
- Consider approval of an Engineering Services Agreement and Work Order
No. 1 with M & E Consultants, Heidenheimer, for engineering studies to
determine the Breech Inundation Maps for eight (8) dam sites in the Elm
Creek Watershed.
- Consider approval of an Agreement with Elm Creek Watershed Authority for
the reimbursement of half of the expenses incurred by Bell County in the
development of the Flood Inundation Maps for Sites 4, 8, 21, 22, 23, 30, 39,
and 28.
- Consider approval of an Engineering Services Agreement and Notice to
Proceed with Nave Engineering, Inc., Weatherford, for the necessary
engineering to determine the Breech Inundation Maps and prepare Emergency
Action Plans for Structures 5 & 6, Donahoe Creek Watershed.
- Consider approval of an Agreement with Donahoe Creek Watershed for the
reimbursement of half of the expenses incurred by Bell County in the
development of the Flood Inundation Maps and Emergency Action Plans for
Sites 5 & 6.

Personnel.

Consider approval of the termination, modification, or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire on December 22, 2008.

Claims.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
