Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
December 15, 2008
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., December 15,
2008,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on December 15, 2008, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of December 08, 2008.

County Engineer.
- Conduct a Public Hearing and consider approval of the vacation of a
portion of the Grove Road.
- Consider authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids for a
12-14 C.Y. Dump Truck and a Tractor.
- Consider authorizing the purchase of a Vermeer Bruch Chipper (BC1800XL)
off Buy Board.
- Consider authorizing the purchase of a 2008 model Asphalt Zipper AZ500
off of HGAC.
- Consider authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for bids for the
purchase of various oil and grease products.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the
purchase of three (3) portable welding units.
- Consider Final Plat Approval of Havemann Estates, a Two-Lot, 1.41 Acre
Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple.

Personnel.

Consider approval of the termination, modification, or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire on December 22, 2008.

Consider ratification and approval of payment of matching
funds to Area Agency on Aging for Coop Agreement for Texas Nursing Home
Diversion Modernization Grant Program from the Department of Health and Human
Services Administration on Aging.

Consider approval of jail inmate dental contract with Dentrust
Dental Texas, PC.

Consider approval of final FY 2008 Budget Amendments.

Consider approval of Professional Services Agreement with TWC
Architects for Bell County Courthouse.

Claims.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
