Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
February 02, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., February 02,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on February 02, 2009, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of January 26, 2009.

County Engineer.
- Consider approval of a variance to the 25' building setback line on Lot
7, Block 1, Shiloh Terrace Phase 3, for Mr. Dan Rose, who is the developer
of the Subdivision, (264 Rosemont).

Personnel.
-
Consider approval of the termination, modification, or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire at 10:00 a.m. on February 23, 2009.

Consider approval of Data Access Agreement between Bell County
an the Office of the Attorney General in support of its duties in the
administration of a Child Support Enforcement Strategy, pursuant to the
authority in § 132.002 of the Texas Family Code.

Consider approval of entering
into a contract with Wharry Engineering for roofing engineering and consulting
and approval of granting an exemption from the requirements of § 262.023 of
the Local Government Code under the Discretionary Exemptions of § 262.024 (a)
(4) of the Local Government Code.

Consider recognition of Bell
County 4-H Consumer Decision Making Team for winning 1st at the Western
National 4-J Roundup in Denver, January 7-11, 2009. Members of the team
are Dorothy Wood, Elizabeth Wood, David Fasolino, and Victoria Eller.
They will be presented by Micah Holcombe, Bell County Extension Agent for 4-H
& Youth Development for Texas AgriLife Extension Service.

Recognize Bell County Sheriff Dan
Smith for the presentation ceremony of the Annual Sheriff's Office Awards for
2009.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
