Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
February 09, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., February 09, 2009, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  February 09, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

1. Consider approval of minutes of February 02, 2009.

2. County Engineer.

   1. Consider awarding bids for the purchase of Lime, Cement, Concrete, Cold Mix, Hot Mix, Liquid Asphalts, and Pit-Run Gravel.
       

3. Personnel.

4. Consider approval of the termination, modification, or continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to expire at 10:00 a.m. on February 23, 2009. 

5. Consider approval of Annual Law Enforcement Contract with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Bell County Sheriff's Office to provide law enforcement services on area lakes.

6. Consider approval of request and budget amendment for $22,500.00 for assistance to Hill Country District to operate two additional fixed routes - (1) the express Connector Route between Killeen and Temple with a stop in Belton, and (2) the Belton Circulator Route, with service to begin April 1, 2009.

7. Claims.
   
           Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
           whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
