Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 02, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., March 02,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on March 02, 2009, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of February 23, 2009.

County Engineer.
-
Personnel.
-
Consider approval of Memorandum of Understanding between City
of Temple and the Bell County Sheriff's Office allowing use of City of Temple
Police Department Weapons Firing Range.

Consider approval of the termination, modification, or
continuation of the Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban, set to
expire at 10:00 a.m. on March 23, 2009.

Consider approval of final Change Order Number 11 between Bell
County and Skanska USA Building, Inc. for additions/changes to Bell County
Jail Project.

Consider approval for County
Auditor to advertise for bids for a General Contractor for construction of the
Bell County Multi-Use Facility to be located next to the Bell County Justice
Complex on Loop 121 in Belton.

Consider declaring the old
marquee sign at the Bell County Expo Center as surplus and authorizing its
sale as scrap metal.

Consider ratifying changing the
number of Rooftop Air Conditioning units in Bid #8-09 from four to five units.

considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth
above.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
