Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 30, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., March 30, 2009, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  March 30, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of March 23, 2009.

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Consider approval of the following Traffic Control Devices:
      1.  Install a 45 MPH speed limit at intersection of Ivy Road & Willow Grove to 600 feet South on Willow Grove Road.
    2. Consider Final Plat Approval for T.B.T., a 10.766 Acre, 3-Lot Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple, fronting on Water Supply Road.  
    3. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids on cracksealing material.  
       
  3. Personnel.

  4. Announce the Texas Senate Confirmation of Governor Rick Perry's nomination of County Judge Jon Burrows for re-appointment to the Task Force on Indigent Defense.

  5. Receive report on weather/fire conditions and if appropriate consider approval of issuance of an Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban.

  6. Receive report and consider approval of Proclamation naming April 2009 as "Child Abuse Prevention Month" in Bell County, Texas.

  7. Consider approval of Change Order Number 001, with no change in Guaranteed Maximum Price, between Bell County and Skanska USA Building, Inc. on Courthouse Expansion Project.

  8. Claims.


            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
