Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
April 06, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 06,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on April 06, 2009, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of March 30, 2009.

County Engineer.
- Consider releasing Letter of Credit No. 632, First State Bank Central
Texas in the amount of $7,000.00 for the one-year road maintenance for Lacey
Lou Addition off Brewer near Salado.
- Consider Final Plat Approval for Dustin Heights Addition, a 3.107 Acre,
4 Lot Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Salado, fronting on West
Amity.

Receive report on weather/fire conditions and if appropriate
consider approval of issuance of an Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn
Ban.

Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement between County of
Bell, City of Belton, City of Harker Heights, City of Temple and City of
Killeen -- 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Edward Byrne Justice
Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Award.

Consider approval of Memorandum
of Understanding among the participants in the Bell County Health and Human
Services Community Alliance.

Consider approval of Bell County
Health and Human Services Community Alliance and Texas Health Institute
Contract for Services -- Statement of Work for Community Needs Assessment.

Consider report on Calendar Year
2008 Unreimbursed Health Care Expenditures to be sent to Texas Department of
State Health Services showing an increase of $646,046.15 from $6,162,068.92 in
CY 2007 to $6,808,115.07 in CY 2008.

Consider approval of Resolution
asking Senator Troy Fraser, Representative Ralph Sheffield, and Representative
Jimmie Don Aycock to co-author and support the passage of HJR 84 to Prohibit
Mandates on Counties.

Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
