Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
April 13, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 13, 2009, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on  April 13, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of April 06, 2009.

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Conduct Public Hearing and consider vacation of a portion of Rosanky Road as depicted on drawings provided. 
    2. Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the Rogers I.S.D. for paving of 900 sq. yards of roadway.    
       
  3. Personnel.

  4. Receive report on weather/fire conditions and if appropriate consider approval of issuance of an Order Restricting Outdoor Burning - Burn Ban.

  5. Recognize Pct 2 Commissioner Tim Brown for his selection for the 2009-2010 Commissioners Court Leadership Academy of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service's V.G. Young Institute of County Government of Texas A& M University. 

  6. Consider updates from offices of Senator Troy Fraser, Representative Ralph Sheffield, and Representative Jimmie Don Aycock on Bell County's request to co-author and support the passage of HJR 84 to Prohibit Unfunded Mandates on Counties.

  7. Claims.


            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
