Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May 11, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May 11, 2009, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on May 11, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of May 04, 2009.

  2. County Engineer.

  3. Personnel.

  4. Announce and consider approval of Proclamation Setting May 14, 2009 as Police Memorial Day in Bell County, with the ceremony to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2009 on the north lawn of the Bell County Courthouse Square in Belton.

  5. Consider approval of Resolution Establishing FY 2009 Bell County Drug Court Program and designating County Judge as the authorized official for grants from the Criminal Justice Division of the Office of the Governor.

  6. Consider approval of bid for renovations to Juvenile Justice Center and authorizing entering into a contractual agreement.

  7. Consider approval of Statement of Work with FusionBridge Ltd for Bell County Indigent Defense Assessment Project.

  8. Consider approval of SAVNS (Statewide Automated Victim Notification System) Grant Contract Between the Office of the Attorney General and Bell County for the State Fiscal Year 2010 to continue participation in the Texas Statewide Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) system beginning on September 1, 2009 and ending on August 31, 2010.

  9. Claims.

            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
