Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
June 08, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., June 08, 2009, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on June 08, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

1. Consider approval of minutes of May 26, 2009.

2. County Engineer.

   1. Consider releasing the Letter of Credit No. 1022 in the amount of $9,000.00 from Independent Bank, for Sunset Vista Subdivision.
   2. Consider an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Little River - Academy for the repair of the Walking Trail.
   3. Consider approval of the bids for Stone Riprap #14-09 and Crack Seal Material #13-09.
   4. Consider approval of price adjustment for Liquid Asphalt under terms of prior contract.
   5. Consider approval of Replat of Pecan Springs Subdivision Phase Two, being a replat of Lots 2A, 3A, & 4A.
       

3. Personnel.

4. Recognize County Judge Jon Burrows upon his installation as President of the North & East County Judges & Commissioners Association and announce that the Annual Conference of the North & East County Judges & Commissioners Association will be held at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center on May 16-19, 2010.

5. Receive report from Lindsey Strait, Chair of the Bell County Youth Fair Scholarship Program, on this year's scholarship recipients and introduction of the student recipients. 

6. Receive award presentation from Oncor Electric Delivery of $27,458.61 incentive check for energy efficiency in Bell County Facilities.

7. Consider approval of purchase off of Buy Board of Mobile Central Files System for Auditor's Offices.

8. Consider approval of Audit Engagement Letters for Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2009.

9. Consider authorizing County Judge to sign agreement/contract with Gene Doss Construction Co., Inc. for General Contract Services for Bell County Juvenile Justice Center Renovation at 4800 East Rancier, Killeen, Bell County, Texas.

10. Consider ratifying authorizing County Auditor to advertise for Courthouse insulation.
