Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
June 29, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., June 29, 2009, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on June 29, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

  1. Consider approval of minutes of June 22, 2009.

  2. County Engineer.

  3. Personnel.

  4. Recognize Jim Reed, Executive Director of the Central Texas Council of Governments and Past Chair of the National Association of Regional Councils Executive Directors' Council, for being the recipient of the 2009 Walter Scheiber Leadership Award presented by the National Association of Regional Councils.  The Award recognized the significant impacts he has made at the local, state, and national levels.

  5. Consider status of Order Restricting Outdoor Burning and review of July 4th Fire Safety Guidelines from the Texas Forest Service. 

  6. Consider report on utility savings due to membership in Public Power Pool.

  7. Consider approval of bid for Courthouse insulation installation.

  8. Consider approval of Statement of Work with FusionBridge Ltd for Bell County Employee Self Service & Applicant Tracking Project and Procurement Project. 

  9. Claims.

            Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.


            Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
            whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
