Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
August 10, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., August 10,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on August 10, 2009, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of August 3, 2009.

County Engineer.
-
Personnel.
-
Consider status of Order Restricting Outdoor Burning.
-
Consider re-appointment of Pct 3 Commissioner Eddy Lange as
Bell County's representative on the Temple Reinvestment Zone Number One Board
of Directors for a two-year term beginning September 1, 2009.

Consider approval of Memorandum of Understanding between Bell
County and Lone Star Legal Aid for Lawyer-Magistrate Appointment for Juvenile
Court Magistrate services for the 2010 Fiscal Year.

Consider approval of Memorandum of Understanding between Bell
County and Lone Star Legal Aid for services in the Pro Se Assisted Program for
the 2010 Fiscal Year.

Consider approval of Memorandum of Understanding between Bell
County and Lone Star Legal Aid for services in processing Protective Orders
for the 2010 Fiscal Year.

Consider setting dates for the presentation of the FY 2010
Budget, for Public Hearings, and for approval of the Budget and Tax Rates.

Consider approval of Proposed Tax Rates for Notice of Public
Hearing Purposes.

Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for Requests
for Proposals for emergency services required in the response to a disaster,
including but not limited to transportation, generator supply, and waste
removal.

Consider approval of purchase off of Texas State Contracts
TXMAS-2-711030 (shelving) and TXMAS-2-36030 (rotary files) of Binder Shelving,
Rotary Files, and Payroll Rotary Files for Auditor and Payroll areas.

Consider approval of agreement with Oncor Electric Delivery
for installation of additional electric facilities to provide electric service
at 2405 S. Loop 121 in Belton.

Agenda items may be
considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth
above.
Bell County Commissioners Court
reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open
Meeting Act.
