Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 13, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 13, 2009, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on October 13, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
 

1. Consider approval of minutes of October 5, 2009.

2. County Engineer.

   1. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the purchase of the following materials: Grade 4 & 5 Aggregate, Culverts, Reinforce Steel, and Base. 
       

3. Personnel.

4. Consider approval of Change Order Number 001 between Bell County and Gene Doss Construction, Inc. on the Bell County Juvenile Justice Center Renovation for the addition of engraved room numbers on door head and extension of completion date by five days.
    
5. Consider approval of Change Order Number 002 between Bell County and Zapalac/Reed Construction Company on the Bell County Multi-Use Facility for addition of fire pump, ESFR system, fire line, and pump room.
    

6. Consider approval of Change Order Number 004 between Bell County and Skanska USA Building Inc on the Bell County Courthouse Expansion Project for additional pier depths and sump pumps with oil sensors and alarms in elevator shafts.
    

7. Claims.
   
           Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above.
   
   
           Bell County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any items in executive (closed) session
           whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
