Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 19, 2009
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 19,
2009,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on
October 19, 2009, at
9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

Consider approval of minutes of October 13, 2009.

County Engineer.

Conduct Public Hearing and consider vacation of a portion of First Street in
Heidenheimer, Precinct 3, from Avenue B to Avenue E, as depicted on
drawings provided.

Personnel.

Recognize Pct 3
Commissioner Eddy Lange for his completion of the Commissioners Court
Advanced Curriculum of the County Judges & Commissioners Association of
Texas, making the entire Bell County Commissioners Court as having
successfully completed the program.
Recognize County
Judge Jon Burrows for his re-appointment to the Transportation Steering
Committee of the National Association of Counties.

Day Voting (Tuesday, November 3, 2009) - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the
voters precinct polling location.
Consider approval of City of Temple request for tax abatement for
Texquest Investments LLC approved by the City of Temple on August 6,
2009.
